This Refund Policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled for NetKey subscriptions. Payments are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Inc for purchases made in the United States, and Paddle.com Market Ltd for purchases made outside the United States), who acts as the Merchant of Record for NetKey.
This page is provided for convenience and summary purposes. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s terms (including consumer cancellation rights and refund handling) at paddle.com/legal/invoiced-consumer-terms. If you are purchasing on behalf of a business, different rights may apply than those described for consumers.
NetKey uses Paddle as our payment provider and Merchant of Record. This means:
For more information about Paddle, visit www.paddle.com.
NetKey offers a free trial period for new users:
If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your initial subscription purchase within 14 days without giving any reason, unless the exception below applies.
The cancellation period expires 14 days from the day after completion of the transaction.
To meet the cancellation deadline, you must contact Paddle before the expiration of the 14-day period. You can do this by contacting Paddle at paddle.net.
If you cancel within the 14-day period, Paddle will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after being informed of your decision to cancel. The reimbursement will be made using the same payment method as your original transaction.
Your right as a consumer to cancel does not apply to the supply of digital content once you have started to download, stream, or otherwise acquire it, and to products which you have had the benefit of.
In practice, this may mean you lose the right of withdrawal once access to the service has begun or the service has been made available and used.
Please note: for subscription services, the right to cancel applies to the initial subscription purchase and not upon each automatic renewal.
NetKey subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled. Key points:
Refunds are provided at the sole discretion of Paddle and on a case-by-case basis. Refunds may be refused.
Paddle will refuse a refund request if there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer in relation to services which are not as described, faulty, or not fit for purpose.
Outside the 14-day consumer cancellation right (where applicable), Paddle does not offer a fixed “refund window” for discretionary refunds.
To request a refund or cancellation:
If technical problems prevent or unreasonably delay delivery of the service, your exclusive remedy is either replacement of the service or refund of the price paid, as determined by Paddle.
If you believe you have been charged incorrectly:
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
